Optical connectivity with a singular focus

XiOptics supplies harsh-environment optical interconnect solutions to customers locally, regionally, and around the world. The company maintains a broad portfolio and ship-from-stock inventory of MIL-PRF-29504 and ARINC 801 termini, supported by specialized product knowledge and customer service.

XiOptics focuses on the optical content within connector systems—termini, media interfaces, termination methods, and related tooling—while partnering with connector suppliers to deliver complete solutions. Standard and custom products support glass and plastic optical fiber across aerospace, defense, medical, telecommunications, and industrial applications.

Scott Christian

Managing Member and Product/Market Specialist

Scott Christian’s career has centered on rugged optical interconnects for defense and aerospace. Before his work with XiOptics, he served as managing partner of LumaCon, as a senior product manager at several global connector OEM's, and in fiber-optic product management at ITT Cannon. His work spans connector design, product development, applications, and customer support.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Lewis & Clark College.

Jay Betker

Managing Member and Optical Interconnect Technology Leader

Jay Betker brings an engineering and business-development background in aerospace, transportation, and industrial optical connectivity. Earlier work at ITT Cannon included leadership in business development and engineering for fiber-optic connector programs.

He is a named inventor on patents covering optical terminus keying and indexing—technologies closely connected to the alignment, repeatability, and low-loss performance central to harsh-environment interconnects.

XiOptics supports customers directly and through representatives, distributors, and connector partners. Finished and semi-finished goods are stocked to reduce lead times, while custom termini and interconnects address specialized needs.

Products are assembled in a quality-controlled environment aligned with ISO and AS9100 requirements at a XiOptics facility with manufacturing roots dating to 2003.
